Hondurans went to the polls to choose their next leader, but the whole thing was thrown into chaos when Trump announced he was backing one of the candidates. And, because that wasn’t enough, he also said he’d pardon a former president, which is…

I mean, can you imagine if another country just started meddling in our elections like that? We’d be lowkey (okay, highkey) freaking out. But, I guess that’s just what happens when you’re a superpower, you get to do whatever you want, no matter how sus it is.

This is lowkey a whole thing and I’m not okay, because it’s not every day that a foreign leader just inserts themselves into another country’s election. The people who actually know things are saying this could have major implications for Honduras and its relationships with other countries.

But, let’s be real, Trump’s endorsement is probably going to be a mixed bag for the candidate he’s backing. On the one hand, it could bring in some extra support from Trump fans, but on the other hand, it could also turn off people who are tired of Trump’s antics.
