What’s Happening

So get this: Last month, we reported on The Division: Definitive Edition after an advert for it was spotted at a Ubisoft event, and it’s now shadow dropped on Xbox - but this new version of the Massive Entertainment title doesn’t appear to be a remaster or anything of the sort.

If you head over to the Microsoft Store — where this new version of The Division is available to buy for £45 / $50 — it looks as though this Definitive Edition is just a bundle of everything dropped for The D News Xbox The Division Definitive Edition Ubisoft Xbox One Xbox Series X Xbox Series S The Division Definitive Edition Is Real & Launches Today, But It’s Not A Remaster Xbox Store page tells all by Ben Kerry 1 hour ago : 0 Last month, we reported on The Division: Definitive Edition after an advert for it was spotted at a Ubisoft event , and it’s now shadow dropped on Xbox - but this new version of the Massive Entertainment title doesn’t appear to be a remaster or anything of the sort. Here’s how the team introduces it: “Get the complete The Division experience in this Definitive Edition! (it feels like chaos)

The base game, all three Season Pass expansions, and multiple cosmetic packs await you.

The Details

All three Season Pass expansions are included in this edition, adding new modes, challenges, and ways to fight for New York. The Definitive Edition also includes gear sets, weapon skins, and customization options, everything you need to stand out as an elite agent.

” The DLCs included are Expansions 1-3 (Underground, Survival and Last Stand), and as the description above mentions, owners will get a bunch of extra cosmetics and such as well. There’s no mention of any change to the technical makeup of the game, so all this Definitive Edition appears to be is a final bundle for Ubisoft’s 2016 shooter, unless we get a surprise patch to accompany this release.

Why This Matters

If it is just a bundle, this is a bit of a shame — especially as The Division 2 just got a new current-gen patch — but it’s not all rough for Xbox owners. Thanks to FPS Boost , The Division already runs at 60FPS on Xbox Series X|S, providing a smoother experience than the game’s last-gen counterpart.
