The Illinois native has been listed on the Patriots ’ injury report dating back to Wednesday, January 28. Spillane did not participate in practice on January 29 or January 30.

The 30-year-old is questionable for the Super Bowl. According to the Boston Herald’s Zack Cox, Spillane stated that he does not intend to sit for the big game: Spillane recorded two interceptions, one sack and one forced fumble in the regular season.
