Measles Are Back 🤯

So, Canada just got its measles elimination status revoked and I’m over here thinking, ‘what’s good, eh?

They really said ‘hold my coffee’ and let measles spread for over a year, fr fr. I mean, I know it’s not like they wanted to, but still, it’s giving me ‘we ate the homework’ vibes 📚.

The United States, on the other hand, has until January to get its act together before we lose our status too, which, let’s be real, is a whole thing and I’m not okay 😭.

Why This Matters (Or Doesn’t) 👀

This is lowkey a whole thing because, well, measles is no joke. The people who actually know things are saying that we need to get our vaccination rates up, or else we’ll be touching grass with the measles, and not in a fun way 🌳.

It’s not like we can just ‘touch grass’ and expect everything to be okay, we need to take action, understood the assignment?
