So I just woke up to the tea that Pillion is straight up cleaning house at the BIFA Awards, and I’m not even mad about it 🤷‍♀️.

They really said ‘hold my coffee’ and gave Pillion and Warfare four awards each, because why not, right? (yes, really) Myrid Carten’s doc ‘A Want in Her’ also won three, and Akinola Davies Jr.

is now the best director for ‘My Father’s Shadow’ - talk about main character energy 💁‍♀️.

Why This Matters (Or Doesn’t) 👀

This is lowkey a whole thing and I’m not okay, because Robert Aramayo just won the top acting honor for ‘I Swear’, and I need to know more about this film, stat 📺. The people who actually know things are saying this is a big deal, but like, is it giving Oscar vibes, or is it just a UK thing?
